Support from the Home Front

I feel very fortunate to have had the support and prayers of those back home during my months in the Persian Gulf.  I wish I could share all of the nice things that were sent to me while over there, but it would take a long time to put it all on my web page, and no-one could keep interested long enough to look at ALL of it. However, here are a couple of very nice little things that were sent to me and I hope that you enjoy them as much as I did.

These were originally in color but I changed them to black & white and shrunk them to reduce download time. This was from one of the students of my 2nd grade teacher. She asks near the end of the letter if I know who Hot Harvey, my teacher's paddle, is. Boy did I. I still smile every time I think of this letter. It's hard to believe that the kids that sent these are all driving by now and getting ready to graduate high school.
