Season 1998/1999
Juventus' season started well, the team even reached 1st place on the table in the beggining of November. But, Del Piero's injury and the resigning of coach Marcelo Lippi affected the bianconeri, who weren't able to repeat last season's brilliant appearances. Juve finished 6th on the Serie A.

On the Coppa Italia, Juve were eliminated by Bologna on the quarterfinals. On the Champions League, they've reached the semifinals, but were stopped by treble winners Manchester United.
