1963 Aluminum engine with 1 barrel carter
After 65000 miles of faithful service, the engine needs a little refreshing.
An overheating problem was traced to a problem in the rear of the block.
Over the years, the rear of the waterjacket had a considerable build up of deposits.
This was due to the hard well water mixed with the antifreeze.
When we received the vehicle, the engine has already been pulled apart.
