| Unlike the die cast aluminum block, the cylinder head is made of cast iron. | Note that there is one intake from the main plenum for each cylinder. | The exhaust ports, however, are twinned up. | The intake manifold is partially cast into the head, with an aluminum cover that supports the carbs. | The head bolts must be removed to change the intake manifold cover. Offenhauser offered a dual carb set up for these engines. | |
