INTUITIVE PARENTING

by Lynn Mackay

1. You have as much to learn from your children as they do from you.

2. Children are mirrors for you to see yourself both at your best and at your worst.

3. Your child is not out to get you... no matter how it looks and feels in the moment.

4. How you see the world changes according to your age, height, experience and how much sleep you've had.

5. Prioritize your values.

6. Build trust in all relationships.

7. Encourage learning from mistakes.

8. Listen with your heart as well as your ears.

9. Pay attention to your own true feelings.

10. Ask questions and gather information before acting.

11. Practice consciously sending love to your children and to yourself.

12. Let your words match your feelings.

13. Speak as you like to be spoken to.

14. Choose action not reaction.

15. Breathe deeply... laugh loudly.

16. Nurture yourself as well as your children.

17. You have the right to change your mind... so does your child.

18. Create a kind environment.
