Vincent was conceived on September 10, 1999 at Ridin'-Hy Ranch. Rita had a much easier pregnancy than she did with Tanya. On Thursday, June 8, 2000 at 12:05 AM Vincent Glen Miles Gullion entered the world. He was 8 pounds, 7 ounces and 22 inches long.
Origin of his names:
Vincent - Rita's father was Christened Vincent in the Catholic Church and since he attended Catholic school he was known as Vincent all the way through high school. Rita also had a cousin and a great-grandfather named Vincent.
Glen - Stew's father's middle name is Glen.
Miles - We were originally going to name Vincent, Vincent Glen but while Rita was pregnant we learned that Stew's friend Miles was diagnosed with Hepatitis C. Since Miles does not have a son and we didn't know if we would have another son or not we decided to give Vince a third name.
At his 5-year checkup Vincent measured 42 1/4 inches and weighed 38 1/4 pounds. He loves to draw and play video games.
Vincent is in Kindergarten at St. Mary's and will be graduating in June. |
