There only is a total of a pathetic three movies so far that we have seen in America. As more movies appear, I will place more reviews on this section.

Movie #1- The Dead Zone
Our Rating: 7.5
This was a rather boring movie, but had some pretty good action scenes. It was pretty humurous as well. This should have given it a 6.5, however I love the part when Gohan got drunk. That was pretty funny, I was laughing a hell of alot when that happened. The script could have used more work, better battles, and a better plot.
Movie #2- The World's Strongest
Our Rating: 6.5
This movie has great animation. The art was fantastic! However the plot was very poorly done. It did not have enough action, and the story line just wasn't making sense. It was stupid, if you ask me. Well what can you expect?
Movie #3- The Tree of Might
Rating: 8
This had many things wrong with it, among those things were a screwed up and boring plot, and not the best animation I have ever seen. However, the battles were better then most movies. I like the entire fight seen, between the Z-Warriors, Turlas, and Turlas' goons. That is why I gave it an 8. This movie should be getting a 6.
Special #1- Bardock, Father of Goku
Rating: 10
I liked this movie, it outlined the Frieza saga, had a great plot, and riviting action. This movie was all around great. I loved the plot, and the level of emotional drama, will just have you on the edge of your seat. This is truly the best special, and movie if you will, out of any of the few movies out.
Special #2- The History of Trunks
Rating: 9.5
I loved this movie too! This had a great plot, great action, and awesome animation. It also had an emotional level like that of Special #1. It also gave us, the Dragon Ball Z fans, a look at how Mirai Trunks' corrupted Time Line was like. This movie was not only good for information, but it was good for entertainment as well. I gave it a 9.5 because it was too short for my taste, in other words it just went too fast. |
