Goku	Son Goku is the main character throughout DragonBall DragonBallZ and DragonBallGT. He is always the strongest out of all the good guys acept at the very beginning of Dragon Ball. Goku is a Saiyan but he didn,t find that out until the beginning of DragonBallZ when he meets his brother Radditz. Goku is always the one they reley on when there is a power to strong for the rest to handle. Goku is also the one who does most of the big fights and everyone else just helps him. Goku's power level increases giganticly from DB to DBGT he reaches all the Super Saiyan froms forms 1,2,3and even 4. The first time Goku goes SS is when he is facing Freeza and in the very last episode of DragonballGT he goes SS4 and so does Vegeta and the fuse into SS4 Gogeta. Goku dies twice throughout the series. The second time he dies bulma and the rest remember that Goku liked being a kid better and that if he was a kid he could have lots of time to grow up and get even stronger so they wish him back as a kid. Goku has a son Gohan a wife Chichi and his best friends name is Krillin. Goku also is friends with Vegeta, Trunks,Bulma,Yamcha,Tien,Piccolo,Master Roshi, and King Kai.
Gohan	Son Gohan is the son of Goku and son of Chichi he is not as strong as a couple of the people in the show but plays an important role. He is only half Saiyan because his mom is from Earth. Gohan is a kid at the beginning of DragonballZ and is a full grown adult by the end of DragonballGT. Gohan faces a lot of challenges in DragonballZ espicially when he is a kid and he has to faceNapa, Vegeta, Freeza and Cell and his is overpowered by them. Gohan is very loyal to his dad and will do anything for him and also counts on his dad a lot. Gohan's mo Chichi is very overprotective of him and often doesn't aprove of him going off to fight but Gohan knows he has to. Out of everyone in the show Gohan is prbably one of the people who fights the most. Gohan is friends with a lot of people in the show the one he is with most of the time is Krillin, but his best friend and master who trained him when he was young is the Namik named Piccolo.
Vegeta	Vegeta is probably the second srtongest out of all the people in DragonballZ. He has been in it since the beginning when he came with Napa to Earth to get the Dragonballs to make a wish. The second part of DragonballZ was based on Freeza about half way through that is when Vegeta starts to work with Gohan, Krillin and Goku but only so they had a chance at beating the Ginyu Force and Freeza. After they beat them Vegeta decides to stay and fight with them. Even though he works with them he still is not all good and has some bad in him. All throgh DragonballZ and DragonballGT Vegeta is with the good guys but often wants to prove he is stronger than Goku ever since Goku beat him in the beginning. Vegeta is strong enough to reach all the super saiyan forms 1,2,3 and 4. He is the only other Saiyan dto do that besides Goku. Vegeta ends up marrying Bulma and has a son named Trunks who is part Saiyan. I don't know if Vegeta dies in the series but i don't think so because he is in it until the very last episode of DragonballGT where he goes SS4 and fuses with SS4 Goku to SS4 Gogeta it is really cool.
Trunks	Trunks comes in to DragonballZ just after the Freeza saga, he is best friends with Goten when he is a kid. When he is a kid he is not as strong as the rest but when he gets older he gets pretty strong. T runks doesn't have hair like a Saiyan for one reason., that is because his mom is Bulma so he got his dad Vegeta's strength but he got his moms hair. But when he goes Super Saiyan he gets Saiyan hair. Trunks does not die in the show. One of the most important things he does in the show is he goes to the future to save the past. Trunks doesn't dress like the rest he wears a capsule corp uniform because his Grandfather worked for capsule corp. Trunks did wear a normal uniform when he was a kid it was green with a red belt. Sometimes when Trunks goes Super Saiyan he wears a Saiyan uniforn. Bulma is Trunk's mom and Vegeta is Trunk's dad.
Goten	Goten is Goku's second son. He isn't born until about half way through DragonballZ. Goten isn't that strong since he is still a kid when DBGT is over, but Goten is the youngest Saiyan ever to go SS. Goten is best friends with Trunks when they are kids but then Trunks goes to the future and comes back older and Goten is still young. Goten is strong but doesn't go into as many battles as the rest because he is inexperianced and doesn't know how to fight as good. Goten usually only fought with Trunks when they were kids or sometimes with his dad. Every time Goten fought except the first couple times he went SS because everyone was so strong you had to go SS to be able to fight them unless you were bery very strong and you didn't need to go SS. Goten's dad is Goku, his mom is Chichi, and his brother is Gohan. Goten is only eight by the end of DBGT but is a help to them because sometimes the have battles that they can't win by theirselves so Goten isn't strong enough to beat them but he can weaken them so that the rest are strong enough to defeat them. That is why Goten is important in DBZ.
Krillin	Krillin is one of the main characters in DragonballZ even though he is not a saiyan but an Earthling. Krillin is Goku's best friend and has been ever since Dragonball. At the beginning of Dragonball they were rivals but they becasme friends. Krillin used to be as strong as Goku but he falls behind because Goku is a Saiyan. Sometimes ina fight Krillin isn't as strong as the opponent but he wins sometimes but not as much as he loses. Krillin is a help in battles because he has experiance and he does little things that helps the rest. Even though Krillin isn't as strong he still has an attack that is strong enough to beat almost anyone. It is called the Destruckto Disk most bad guys just think they can block it they dont know whatever it touches it cuts in half just like Napa thought until Vegeta told him to move. Krillin was actually a monk but he left the temple to train. Krillin has no nose instead six dots on his forhead. Krillin is not bald he does have hair he just decides to shave his head. Later on in the series Krillin marries Android#18. It is then where he decides to let his hair grow. Krillin also has a daughter with Android#18 but i don't know her name. Krillin dies three times throughout Dragonball DragonballZ and DragonballGT and the wish him back everytime.
Piccolo	Piccolo is a alien from out of space, a plannet called namek.He was an a enemy of goku and they always fought.When Gokus evil brother,Raditz came to earth from planet Vegeta Goku and Piccolo teamed up so they can beat them.They barly killed him, while they were fighting Radditz called his friends to save him.That is when Goku died, Piccolo took Goku's son to train them for the incoming 2 sayins .After a year all of the DBZ characters teamed up to beat the two sayins Nappa and Vegita.Piccolo relized that he is from nammek when Vegita told him.But they were just too strong, after 3 of the members died, Nappa was going to shoot Gohan to the ground.That is when piccolo came in and stepped infront of gohan to save him , that is when he changed his heart about evil.Piccolo dies 2 times in DBZ/GT and now his home isn't nammek it's earth and he would do anything to protect his friends and his home.
Yamcha	Yamcha is an O.K fighter but is not as strong as the rest and not as strong even compared to the rest of the Earth's soldiers but he is a help sometimes. Goku first met Yamcha in Dragonball on their way to find the dragonballs. Yamcha dies once in DragonballZ when the Saiyans come to Earth and one of the Saibamen selfdestrucks wile grabbing on to Yamcha. Yamcha was almost as strong as Goku in Dragonball but he falls behind like the rest because he is not a Saiyan. Beating Raccom on King Kai's planet during the Freiza saga is probably Yamcha's biggest achievment in DragonballZ. Yamcha's best friend is a cat like animal named Puuar. The met in Dragonball and have always been friends. Early in DragonballZ Yamcha plays professional baseball so he can make some money. Yamcha doesn't have any Family(That i know of).some people said that Yamcha looked kinda like Goku in Early DragonballZ but you can tell them apart by looking to see if Yamcha has a Scar on his Right cheek. Later on in DragonballZ Yamcha sort of looks like Gohan as a teen because he cuts his hair but again.
Tien	Tien is a pretty cool guy, although I'm not sure if he's human. He has three eyes and the ability to grow extra arms; but he looks human, so we'll just say he's "a freak of nature" or something. Another guy that was originally Goku's enemy (from the Tenkaichi Budokais) Tien ended up becoming friends with Goku somewhere along the way. He amazes me, how many people do you know that can get their arm cut off and still get up and kick your butt? He fought well aainst the Saiyans, although he was no match for them. And then went to train wih King Kai and became much stronger, eventually fighting and defeating the Ginyu force (with some help of course). Tien's best friend and psychic pal is Choatzu. Tein is not as strong as the rest of the fighters but he helps alot along the way. He also helps the ZFighters face the Androids and Cell even though he dies. Tien used to be a demon and had four arms until he was defeated by Goku and turned to good. Tien doesn't make it to DragonBallzGT due to the fact he had died to many times.
Freeza	Freeza is the leader of a planet conquering team. Such as Zarbon and Dadoria. They fly from planet to planet to either destroy them or to sell them for other valuables. Freeza claims to be the strongest fighter in the universe. A long time ago he would use saiyans as slaves, until he heard about the Super Saiyan. He had no choice but to destroy thier planet along with the entire race of saiyans. He thought he was unstoppable because every saiyan that was a threat to him was no longer living. But four saiyans survived. Goku, Vegeta, Nappa and Radditz. Freeza planned to be granted immortalty after he heard that the dragonballs were on planet namek. So he went there to collect all the dragonballs to be granted his wish. But things didn't work out as planned. The Z fighters tried to hold back Freeza, with the help of Vegeta. Vegeta and Freeza met face to face once again. Vegeta claimed to be a super saiyan, and that is why Freeza killed him. But Freeza saw Goku, (who never knew he was a saiyan until Vegeta told him) who turned super saiyan. Freeza was out strengthed by the super saiyan, and he lost his pride. He tried to blow up planet Namek. But of course Goku killed Freeza and saved the Nameks. About a year later, Freeza was recrated by Dr.Gero, which made Freeza even stronger, but he was finally killed for good by trunks. Freeza has four different forms. When in his forth form he uses 1% then 50%, and Freeza at his best he uses 100% of his power which brings him to a power level of 12,000,000. Every body that Freeza killed, was wished back to life, even Vegeta, and they lived happily ever after.......Until Trunks told the Z fighters that the Androids were coming!!!
Choatzu	The devoted companion of Tien, this white-faced, red cheeked little guy is a skilled warrior in his own right. Pirnce-emperor of a distant and mysterious land called milfan, he has also mastered a wide variety of fighting and mystical arts, he can teleport, hypnotize and even freeze an opponent in place with his powers. Originally, Choatzu and Tien were students of Master Roshi’s greatest rival, but after meeting Goku and his companions, they decided to fight on their side instead. Together, they all went to battle Piccolo in one of his many attempts to take over the world, in the process, Chiaotzu was killed (but later brought back by the Dragonballz). When the saiyans threated to enslave Earth, Chiaotzu quickly joins Tien as one of the first fighters to be trained by Kami. His bravery and nobility come to the fore when he selflessly teleports onto the evil Nappa’s back and self-destructs in a vain attempt to save his comrades, a sacrifice made all the more poignant for the fact that having died once, he cannot be revived again by the Dragonballs power.
