Nashville, TN
August 2003

In August of 2003, a bunch of us flew down to Nashville for Sal and Renee's wedding .....
This is what happened ......
(Sorry ... no names have been changed to protect the innocent *lol*)

We got off to a pretty good start. We laffed it up @ the Jess & Andrea's house before we headed to the airport. I kept having this nagging feeling that we were gonna forget something ... like plane tickets (etc) .. but we lucked out and didn't.

One thing though ... when traveling with a group of people you've known your entire life ... it's NOT a good thing to fall asleep when traveling. If you do ... you are subject to being photographed and/or put on the video *ROFLOL*!

When we got to the hotel (which was AWESOME by the way ... but what's with the 12mph sign), we all met up with the rest of the group in the hotel lounge.

That seemed to be the general meeting place for our rather large group. And, it became our hangout place when we got bored of hanging out in the rooms, pool, or hot tub

The "rehearsal dinner" was more of a "bride's family meets groom's family" dinner.

We all went to the Cracker Barrell in Nashville. On the way, we somehow crammed 6 people in our rented Ford Taurus! (LOL)

We also noticed that the sky started turning all sorts of funky gray/green. Apparently ... there was a tornado headed in our general direction ... WHAT?!?!.

But, we lucked out. The rain was pretty bad and all. The wind was fierce. I loved every minute of it .. and even stood outside with the video camera to get in on tape. Oh how I LOVE a good storm!!!

I was worried that the tornado might cause problems as far as the wedding goes .. but the day of the wedding was crystal clear. It was a little on the warm side. But, after all, it was August down south.
