On my "All-Time"
top-ten list

  • Take a closer look ... If you play the scene where they're tumbling down the hill in slow motion, Buttercup has a beard.

  • When Inigo and Count Rugen are duelling in the banquet room, watch the Count's sword: after he stabs Inigo near each shoulder and draws out the sword it is clean. A moment later, as Inigo falls forward a bit and then rights himself, blood is seen on the Count's sword. If you watch both their swords during this entire scene you'll see the disappearing/reappearing blood.

  • Before Fezzik, Inigo, and Wesley storm the castle (as they are developing their plan)Inigo says Humperdink and Buttercup are getting married in a little less than 1/2 an hour. It is bright and sunny outside. Next time we see them before their master plan is carried out, it is dark-like the middle of the night.

    Return of the King:

  • FYI: Did you know that in the scene right after Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas jump off the ship, Legolas and Gimli continue their game of who kills the most orcs. There is a shot of Legolas where he shoots an arrow and says, "15" he makes the move to grab another arrow and shoots, but there is no arrow in his hand or in the bow when he shoots it and says, "16."?

  • Did you notice? ... In the second half of the film, Frodo has a scar on his lower right cheek, close to his chin. Many times throughout the rest of the film the scar changes position and size on his cheek and also from his right cheek to his left cheek (most obviously on the slopes of Mount Doom when Sam is cradling his head). (Kind of like Cindy Crawford's signature mole, huh?)

    Gotta love it!
    Zero is awesome!

  • During Oogie Boogie's song, Oogie has a snake tongue, which snaps at Santa as Oogie sings to him. In the scene where Jack defeats Oogie, Oogie is revealed to be composed of bugs. The snake is not visible.

  • In the song 'Jack's obsession' the little dead boy says 'hope he hasn't died' referring to Jack. At the begining of the film, Jack sings: 'Since I am dead, I can take off my head'. Is it possible for him to die twice?

    Even had a cat
    named Binx once

  • Towards the beginning of the movie, when the three kids go out to explore the old witches' house, and they bring the witches back to life; Max sets off the fire alarms to scare the witches. The whole place gets soaked, even the witches. In the next scene when the witches go outside, they are completely dry. The rest of the night the inside of the house is completely dry too. There is no possible way that everything could have dried off that fast.

  • Near the beginning of the movie after Binx was transformed into the cat, he tries to get his fathers attention and, toward the middle of the movie when the kids show up at the party at Town Hall, Danny tries to prove that the witches are back by telling her mom that the cat can talk. If throughout the entire movie Binx is talking then why didn't he say something to his father or Danny's mother to prove to them who he was?

  • Double Whammy After Max and Allison rescue Danni from the witches, Max is driving his parent's car. Winnifred flies up along side of them and asks Max to show her his drivers permit. How would she know about driving permits, since she's been dead for 300 years?
When the witches chase Max, Dani, and Allison out of the party, they chase them into an alley. Mary tells Winnifred that she smells scrod. Then says that they used margarine on it, they didn't have margarine back then.
