| Fae opens a gateway with her magic, and you step through. Fae follows you, and the gateway closes behind her. You look around, taking in your surroundings. You are standing in a large meadow bordered by a forest on all sides. The grass is thick and green. Dotting the grass are countless numbers of flowers, thistle, and other plants. A few butterflys flit from flower to flower. You can hear small birds cheeping. Looking around, you can see several small finiches gathering seeds, but nothing bigger than a sparrow. "This is where a few of the Ratties Deborah owns live. Deborah's friend Crystiana Sapphire, the leader of Sapphire Dreams, adopts out the rat-like creatures at The Market. They are very popular! Though, thats not suprising, since they are so cute! The ones living here right now are Rane and Meka. Deborah got them from trading with Crystiana." You ask if you could see them. Fae nods, and indicates behind you. "You turn around to see two little rat-like creatures staring at you from the grass. One is an off white with brownish ears, muzzle, feet, and tail. He looks up at you with bright, dark red eyes. The other one is a cinnamon color. Her front half is colored, while the back half is white. On the white fur is spots of the same cinnamon color. You comment on how cute they are. "They are arn't they?" Fae agrees. "Rane is a himalayan self. Himalayan is his color, and self would be his markings. Self means that he has no markings. Meka is a cinnamon pearl veriegated." Meka sniffs at you, then turns and dissapears. Rane stays a moment longer, then he too leaves. "They have taken quite a liking to each other. Maybe they will mate and have babies some day." You tell Fae you hope they will. "Deborah is hoping to get a few more Ratties for company for these two. Maybe another pair." You nod. "Well, thanks for visiting them." You nod, and turn back... |
