Dark Angel is set three years after the Android Saga in Dragon Ball Z and three years after The Phantom Menace in Star Wars. It follows Goku, Vegeta, Tien, Krillin, Yamcha, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ki-Adi-Mundi, and Anakin Skywalker as they go up against Darth Siddious, Garlic, Jr, Cold, Frieza, and Ginyu. Along the way, they need to rescue Queen Amidala who finds herself in the clutches of the Dark Side. It's the Light Side against the Dark Side, in a battle that spans across two universes! How exactly does the Dragon Ball Z and Star Wars universes get mixed up together? By way of a portal that opens up overtop Earth and Tatooine, one that could threaten more then just two planets. But, how exactly does the portal open? Perhaps it has something to do with the usage of the Dragon Balls, or it could be another reason all together. Whatever the cause of the opening of this portal, it has to be closed before any harm can become of the two universes. This story has been worked on over a span of 6+ years and has many more chapters to go. It is a project that I had intended to only go to thirty to thirty-two chapters, but currently it is at thirty chapters, if one were to count the prologue as "Chapter One". I also did not intend for this story to go as long as it has, having spending far too long on this for my own sanity. In fact, Dark Angel has been put on the back burner so many times that it looks like it could take a while to finish. I am hoping to have it done shortly, but that has yet to be foreseen. It is a Alternate Universe story, since Goku is supposed to be dead near the end of the Cell Games but because I hadn't seen the last of the episodes then, it soon turned into a AU. Also, I am thinking of re-writting the story in the future, perhaps when I finish the whole crossover. Reason being is because I want to incorporate a few other things into the storyline from the other two Star Wars prequels and what happens later in Dragon Ball Z. Just be paitent while I finish the story when I can and have the moitvation and time to do it. |
