A little girl walks through a dark barren room, nothing in sight other than the lit blue
pathway beneath her feet. She is lost and scared crying out with tears in her eyes...
for her mother. As she continues to walk she grows and ages still crying until she gets
to be about 16. She is no longer able to cry, yet she is still full of sorrow walking on
a never-ending path until it shatters beneath her. She falls seemingly forever and she still
doesn't cry or even let out a shrill scream. Eventually she hits the ground, hard, immobilized
and helpless she looks to her right and sees two dragons standing over her, one was goldish-copper
and the other was bluish-green. To her right were two more, a platinum-gold and a copper one.
At her feet was a sapphire dragon and at her head was a an emerald one.
All Dragons: Cyan... Cyan...
Cyan: Who are you?! What do you want from me?!
All Dragons: Cyan ... you are on the wrong path. This is not your destiny. You must
return home... Minara and the people of Kintara are waiting for you.
A dark cloud come around the dragons, their eyes glowed brightly as energy filled in
their mouths. All at once they let out mighty roars and blasted the energy at Cyan.
Cyan: No!!! Stop, it hurts!!! Please!!!
She screamed with great pain and tears began to pour out of her eyes. The pain becoming
more and more intense, until finally... Cyan awoke. Covered in sweat, breathing heavily;
Cyan sat up quickly in her bed. She looked at her hands shaking, and she touched her face.
She got up and tried to walk to the bathroom but she fell half way there and hit her head on
the floor. She laid there and began to cry. Hearing this Dareas rushed in to see what was going
on. As he opened the door his eyes began to re-adjust to the darkness of the room and he saw a
little girl laying there crying, but when his eyes adjusted he realized that it was really Cyan.
He rushed over to her and picked her up off the floor and held her in his arms. He looked at her
crying and trembling with a vacant expression on her face.
Dareas: Cyan! Cyan!! Wake up!!!... Oh Shit!! Oh Shit!! Eyon come quick!!!
Eyon ran down the hallway and saw Dareas holding Cyan.
Eyon: What's going on!?... What's wrong with Cyan?!
Dareas: I don't know... I heard crying, I came in here and found her on the floor like this.
Eyon: Oh Shit!, Cyan crying lets get her to Trayze.
Cyan: (faintly) Dareas... Eyon... somebody help me...
Dareas and Eyon ran her down to Trayze's laboratory and he immediately sedated her and
tried to heal her head injury.
Eyon: Trayze, can you help her out?!
Trayze: Shouldn't be a problem, she has an inflamation around her brain but that should
be easily rectified.
About a half hour later Cyan was resting peacefully, her breathing and heart rate were
stable and her injury was healed. They placed her in a small medical bed hooked up to a monitoring
system. Outside the room Eyon and Dareas were talking to Trayze about Cyan.
Eyon: Trayze, do you think you can figured out what happened?
Trayze: From the best I can speculate she must have had a really bad dream that shook her up.
Then when she tried to get she took a bad spill and hit her head. She should be fine
though.
Dareas: Thanks Trayze.
Trayze went back into the room to get back to whatever he was doing.
Dareas: Eyon...
Eyon: Yeah I know, how could this happen to Cyan, she always seemed to be the strongest
of us. She has not cried since she was a small child. Well like Trayze I have to get back
to work... look after her will you.
Dareas: No problem.
Eyon walked back down to his room, Dareas went back into Trayze's room and took a seat
by Cyan's bedside. All night he sat holding Cyan's hand until he eventually fell asleep. The
next Morning he awoke to find that Cyan was gone.
Dareas: Oh my god! Where is she?!
Trayze: You won't find her here, she left and went to the bath house about an hour ago.
I guess she's feeling better... she's one tough girl.
Dareas ran through the hall and down the stairs until he made it to the bath house.
hen he walked in he saw that Cyan was sitting in the warm without any type of clothing on
as she usually does. He walked over to her and smiling with a sigh of relief.
Dareas: Cyan... I see you're feeling better, what happened to you last night?
Cyan: Dareas... do you think... Oh, never mind.
Dareas: What? What were you gonna say?
Cyan: Nothing... well what're you doing... join me and we'll talk.
Dareas took off some of his clothes and joined her in the warm water, just as he got
in she moved over to him and took his hand. She told him about her dream and as she did she
began to slightly tremble.
Cyan: I don't know what this is supposed to mean but for the first time.. I‘m afraid of the
future, of what's gonna happen.
Dareas: Don't be, Eyon and I will always be here for you as long as you need us.
Cyan: Thank you.
Cyan hugged Dareas and Dareas kissed her on the cheek. Although she was smiling, diamond tears
started to stream down her face.........
