DARK POETRY

Here is a poem I found while surfing the web.
This poem hit home with me I had to share it with you

Who Will Be There

I sit within the darkness of my heart and screams.
I watch the world fall apart around me
My light has been taken away
And my dreams lay shattered and torn
Who will hold me as I cry?
Who will comfort me as these endless days go by?
I once lived without hope, and it seems those days are here again.
Do these words mean anything to you?
What do you think when I whisper a ragged and sorrow torn "I love you"?
Is there nothing that I can give
that will repair the damage that I did?
The Beast screams for release,
as into the Abyss I fall.
Who will be there to catch me,
or is this darkness all I will know?
I drift in a sea of memories,
Of the happy times between you and me.
Is this all I have left?
Or will you be there when all is said?
My soul without you is incomplete,
With you gone, I will always feel a need.
I am hurt, but I can forgive.
Will you still be there, or is our life together dead?
Let me have just one more try.
Don't walk away and let our love die.
You are my light, my hope, my joy.
Without that, I am lost, a scared little boy.

B>Climbing down a star-speckled ladder
I descend into sweet-smelling green reality
Surrounded by a variety of colorful flowers
My head rests on a purple morning-glory.
The soft, thick clouds above me
drop gentle rain to cleanse my face
Faster than my eyes can comprehend,
the flowers wilt around my body,
the grass turns brown and crumbles with
my slightest breath.
The gentle rains turns into brutal blood drops
bathing me in its harsh truth.
This is reality.
