Warning: This is a Yaoi/Yuri story. In other words, this has boyxboy love. I don't care what you think about such things, I do ask that if you don't like it, don't read it. DUH!! Don't send me flames, I will delete them immediately. {Maybe! ^_~} This story is not centered around Taichi and Yamato as much as my last ones. This is part of a series, if you read the other parts you may understand this one a little better. Here we go, another end to another story! One more series left before the 'Final Battle'! Thanks.
This story is supposed to come after both A Day in the DigiWorld, Family Finds The Way, and Digital Reunion. Some parts in this story will only make sense if you have read A Day in the DigiWorld, Family Finds The Way, and Digital Reuion. If you have read A Day in the DigiWorld, Family Finds The Way, and Digital Reuion, I hope you have also read Never Leave Me (the one before). If you haven't, well, that's your problem and you can try to figure out what is happening. I am using the Japanese names for the humans.

The Digidestineds' kids crests were my idea, but I won't take the crests ('cause I got the ideas for a few of them from other sites ^_~). The poem Magic's Time to Shine is mine. Don't steal it! Magic's Time To Shine
I'm gonna be late,
Magic will shine,

The silence was louder than anything I remember.
"Yamachi, Taito's dead." Yamato said softly. I could hear the pain in his voice. That pain hit me again, but not as bad as it was.
I glared at him. "My name is Mujitsu." I argued.
"I remember when you insisted it wasn't." Maho said with a grin.
"I didn't know then, what I know now." I mumbled.
The wind stirred. A small piece of paper fluttered down to Maho's open palms. She opened it and looked at it deafly. The whole of us was silent. The silence was broken by her gasp.
"Read it." Kasasagi insisted.
She nodded, as if in a trance. "Magic will shine, Dreams will live, Family to the fourth."
Another piece of paper fluttered down, to Kasasagi's open palms. He opened it and decided to read it aloud first. "Innocence will return, Magpie will stay, Family to the fourth."
*Innocence, me. I went back to help Kasasagi, Magpie. He decided to stay with us.* I thought. *Maho, Magic. Saru, Dreams.* I looked at the stumped faces around me. "What does Family to the fourth mean?" I asked, softly.
"Wha-How... Do you understand all the rest of the rhymes?!" Koushiro said in surprise. He's alway prided himself in being very smart.
I nodded. "I'm Innocence. Maho is Magic. Kasasagi is Magpie. Saru is Dreams."
"How do you figure that?" Ken asked.
"Well, Kasasagi means Magpie. Saru crest is Dreams. My crest and name are Innocence, well Maho's are Magic."
"Then you'd better start shinning, Magic!" Lady Myotismon laughed. We all laughed with her, then got back to thinking.
*Our crests always shine when we've proved them to be ours. You've proved Innocence many times.*
*And you Dreams!*
*Hai. Kasasagi's is Understanding.*
*He's proved that many times, no doubt. But how do you prove Magic?*
*I'm working on it! I'm working on it!*
I turned to my brother and sister. "Do you have Digimon?" I asked them. Maho shook her head. Kasasagi whistled and his magpie friend flew onto his hand. "I said Digimon, baka." I told him.
"Check him them." My twin said and turned to talk with...
"Magmon. A little Digimon that cannot speak in anything but chirps, therefore very few can understand it." My D-terminal said.
"Oh. Now I'm amazed." I said.
My brother grinned. "Last time all you could say was 'still'."
"Hey! That's not fair! I was working on your leg at the time, or so I seem to remember." I reminded him.
He grinned. "Still..." We all laughed.
*Prenticemon.*
*What, Saru?*
*Prenticemon is the In-training. Err... Magicamon is the Rookie.*
"WHAT?!" I shouted. Everyone stared at me. I blushed, then remembered what Saru had said and turned to Maho. "Call for Prenticemon." I told her. She just stared at me. "Call him!" I urged.
She obeyed. "Prenticemon! PRENTICEMON!!" Maho yelled, hands cupped around her mouth.
Saru smacked his forehead. *I knew better than to tell you. Let me talk to her."
I walked over to Maho and placed my hand on her shoulder, silencing her. *Hey, little sister.* Saru started.
*Saru?!* Maho said in our heads silently.
*Hai, it's me. I want you to call Prenticemon with your heart. He'll come, and your crest will glow. Then everything will be better again.*
*Okay, oniisan, I will.*
*Good girl. You know what to do.* He broke the connection then. His presence left my mind, and I found myself gasping for breath as I lifted my hand from Maho's shoulder. I satdown on the the stones.
"Mujitsu!!" My brother and sister cried.
"Yamachi!!" The other joined in.
I blacked out.
~:~
I don't really know how long I was out. All I remember is was pain, and Maho and Kasasagi standing there, in my room in the real world. I remember crying out for Saru and gaining no answer. I remember tears and the realization that I was dying. I remember Maho comforting me everytime I dreamed nightmares and taking care of me, like she had the first time.
I remember one certain nightmare the most.
"Leave them alone!" She screamed. "Take anything! Anything but my babies! Anything!"
"Come here boy!" A harsh voice yelled. "Let's go, we have what we want!"
"SARU!!!" I screamed with her
A cool cloth touched my brow. "Shhh. Everything is gonna be all right, Mujitsu."
"Mom?" I asked, my voice no more than a horce whisper from all the screaming.
The soft voice laughed kindly. "Nai. It's only Maho."
"Maho..." I coughed, then slept.
~:~
The sunlight from my window woke me. I glanced over at the clock, 10:00. *I'm late for school.* I thought,
I fell out of bed, only to find I couldn't walk. *I guess I'll take a free day. Taichi'll understand.* I decided as I dragged myself to the half-open door. I opened it the rest of the way and pulled myself along the hall and down the stairs. I leaned on the wall, taking a much needed rest.
A sudden, female, laugh floated from the dining room, followed by more laughing from both sexs. *Guests?* I pulled myself up, with some help from the stair rail, and found I could walk if I leaned on things. I suddenly remember that I was still in my bed clothes and looked back up the stair well, decided it didn't really matter, and continued to the dining room.
The voices rang through the house. *Voices that don't belong.* I thought as I peeked around the doorframe. The faces in the dining room threw a wave of rememberacne over me and I found myself upon the floor, weeping bitterly, roled into a ball.
Someone, or something, nudged my elboe. I looked up into Psychemon's huge purple eyes. They were filled with questions. My growling stomach quickly forestalled any questions from my long-time compainion. We both smiled slightly and Psychemon went into the dining room for food.
"What ya getting more food for, Psychemon? Still hungry?" Yamato joked, as he had countless times before. I found myself angry at him, for no appearant reason. Psychemon waddled out, handling a small plate of food carefully and handed it to me. He sat down next to me as I ate and we listened to the conversations in the dining room.
"I'm starting to worry about those two. Psychemon won't talk to a soul and Snow Agumon hasn't bugged from before Taito coffen for days." I heard a voice say.
I threw Psychemon a questioning look and he got up, leading me to Snow Agumon. "Snow Agumon!" I cried in surprise. Snow Agumon lay before Saru's coffen. He looked dead, copying the face and looks of his best friend and long time companion laying above him. I knelt next to the dying Digimon. "Don't die on me, Snow Agumon. Saru's pleading with you to live."
Snow Agumon looked back at his visitors. "Go away. Leave me be. Saru ain't talking to you, I can tell by the look on your face."
I sighed and rubbed the head of the weakened Digimon. "I may not be able to talk to him right now, but I've spent enough time in his head to know what he'd be thinking. He'd want you to live."
"And, what about you? You've been half dead, lying in your room."
"Do I look dead to you, our do I look like I'm listening to Saru and doing what he'd want. If Maho ever gets the spell right so she can get her Digimon, I'm guessing Saru'll wanna come back to the three of us, alive and well, but awaiting him quietly. We can bear the pain together. It won't be as heavy if we all share a portion.."
Snow Agumon gave a rare smile. "That's exactally what Saru himself would have said. I'll come with you, and we'll all share the heavy pain. You in, Psychemon?"
"Any day old friend. If not just to see you out of this room with a smile on your face."
"You'll only get one at a time!" Snow Agumon warned as the three wandered from the room.
They wandered into the dining room. "Have room for three more?" Asked a slightly better looking Psychemon.
There was total silence. Then, everyone was moving over to make room for us. I sat next to Yamato, Psychemon on my other side and Snow Agumon on his. The conversations resumed and food was passed our way.
I gladly accepted some, as did Snow Agumon. Psychemon, having eaten already, sat there, watching us. I felt better with real food in my stomach. That pain from being seperated from my brother the way I was remained, biting at my insides and reminding me harshly of the past.
"How did you do it? You did in minutes what we've been trying to do for weeks." Taichi speculated.
"Psychemon missed me. Snow Agumon needed a friend to share his pain with."
"He could have come to one of us." Taichi said, a slight bite of anger adding flavor to his voice. "We lost Taito too."
"You weren't as close to Saru." I replied simply.
"Oh. And I guess you were!" Taichi shouted.
"Taichi!" Yamato yelled. "That's quite enough! Yamachi just got up!" At that the two Digimon and myself got up, leaving the table. "Yamachi! Come back! He didn't mean it!" Yamato called to our deaf ears.
I sat down before Saru's coffen and burst into tears. "Now I understand why you hid in here. I'm out there for less than half an hour and they're yelling at me and calling me by the wrong name."
"They forgot themsevles. You were closest to him because you two shared a crest, and, in a way, a mind. Taichi has been breaking at just hearing Saru's name, his given or borrowed. Yamachi is who you'll always be to them, that won't ever change. You'll just have to get used to it again." Maho said from the door. Kasasagi stood behind her, Magmon on his shoulder.
I smiled at them. "Thanks you two. Maho, did you give up on Prenticemon?"
She shook her head. "No. After you got sick I only tried harder and more often, hoping that if Saru came back, so would you." A tear formed in the corner of her eye and fell down her cheek.
Before I knew it we were all hugging, as if we were a family. *We are.* I reminded myself. Then, I remembered something Saru told me before he left. "Magicamon. His Rookie form is Magicamon!" My crest glowed.
"He may have didvolved by now! Call him by his Rookie name!" Kasasagi told her. His crest glowed.
We stood as she concentreted. Her crest glowed and a Digimon formed at her side. We all smiled.
A yawn came from the coffen. Saru sat up. "That was an interesting dream. I dreamed that I was..." His eyes widened at the sight of Maho and Kasasagi. "...dead." He looked around the room. "It wasn't a dream, was it?"
I shook my head. "No, but it's over now. Climb out of that dumb coffen and join us in the world of the living, Oh Great God who is my brother." We all laughed and Kasasagi and I helped him out. His crest glowed.
We grabbed each other's hands and our Digimon stood by our sides. The glow from our four crests flew out into the center our our circle and joined together. The sign of Family shimmered for a second.
*I seem to remember this from somewhere.* I commented. We all laughed.
I felt three presences join my mind, invading my thoughts. I welcomed them, learning what I could. One mind I'd know for a long time, the other two were new.
A sudden flash threatened to throw us across the room. We only held on to each other tighter. All four D-terminals beeped as one beam of light went into Saru and mine, and two beams went into Kasasagi's and Maho's. *Digimentals.* I thought in wonder. Family for all of us. Magic for Maho, Understanding for Kasasagi.
Then our tags doubled and the Crest of Family slid into each one. As the light receded we all shouted together...
"Family To The Fourth!!"

Part Four: Magic's Time To Shine
By: Katmon =^.^= Ichijouji
He's dead,
They said.
But different,
knows I.
The papers flutter down,
Let me speak to her.
Take my hand,
Don't leave me again.
But I can't get up.
Voices,
They fly around,
Where they don't belong.
I run away,
Please come back.
They don't understand,
Who you are.
Dreams will live,
Family to the fourth.
