THE BEGINNING
OUR STORY
In 1986 we acquired our first show cavalier a tricolour named Prestonville Touchwood, not long after that we were given our second cavalier Prestonville Hi Lite, both these dogs were co-owned with there breeder.   Although the 2 were never mated together, they have both contributed to our breeding, Hi Lite was mated and we kept a dog out of this litter, Prestonville I'm Trouble.
We were offered a bitch from Rose and Prue Massey, Burleeds Boater (Aust) this bitch became our foundation bitch although she only ever had one litter in New Zealand.
So in 1991 we mated Touchwood to Boater and produced the first Drakkar Champions, Diplomat and Debutante these two dogs were to start it all for us.
In 1993 we mated Drakkar Diplomat to Pantanassa Remembrance and produced our next champions, Ch Drakkar Pazzaz Galore & A/NZ Ch Masuri Elegance Galore and also Drakkar Rhythm Galore 4cc.
By this time we were completely hooked out of 2 litters we had managed to breed 4 champions what on amazing feeling.
Our third was Prestonville I'm Trouble to Drakkar Debutante  which produced our next 2 Champions, Ch Drakkar Sneaky Affair & A/NZ Ch Drakkar Love Affair.
Then Ch Drakkar Pazzaz Galore was mated to an outside bitch and produced 2 Champions,  the first ever Dual Grand Champion, A/NZ Grand Ch Bellecourt Master Vinn (who's story is on the next page) and Ch Bellecourt Madam Angie,.    Jag is also the sire of
Ch Feldra Sugar N Spice (Tri) & Ch Drakkar Morghana (Tri)
With the help & support from Prue & Rose Massey over the years,  we have been able to introduce some lovely English lines.
To date we try to have not more than 1 or  2 litters a year as we mainly try to breed for ourselves, our record speaks for itself.
Over the years our boys and girls have taken out Multi Cavalier Specialties.

We Breed for quality not quantity and cavaliers that are sound in mind and body,  all our dogs are Eye &  MVD tested before being used for breeding.
