IUFFA Rules

1. What you will need
We will run our draft through yahoo on Sunday September 1. The League will honor ALL yahoo premium league rules.
I suggest you download yahoo messenger if you have not done so already, it is a nice way to chat with other league members.

2. League Assignment
I have placed all teams in geographical divisions as much as possible.

9. Offensive Scoring
The players will earn points as follows:
Rushing- Every 15 yds= 1 pt, TD= 6 pts
   2 Pt conversion= 2 pts, fumble lost= -2 pts
Receiving- Every 15 yds= 1 pt, TD= 6 pts
   2 Pt conversion= 2 pts, funble lost = -2 pts
Passing- Every 40 yds= 1 pt, TD= 6 pts
    2 Pt conversion= 2 pts, Interception = -2 pts
Kicking- FG= 3 pts, extra pt= 1 pt
   40 yd FG= extra pt
   50 yd FG= 2 extra points
   60 yd FG= 3 extra points
Return Yardage- Punt- 25 yds= 1 pt
     Kickoff- 50 yds= 1pt
Punt or Kickoff return TD= 6 pts

4. Schedule
The schedule will consist of 14 regular season games. You will play each team in your division twice, the other division in your conference once, and four of the teams in the other conference once.

Ties
Each team will pick a player to represent that team and his score will be the tiebreaker. I will calculate this to teh tenths position by giving partial fantasy points if necessary. If this is exactly the same, then it will be a tie.

5. Playoffs
The top teams in each division will make the playoffs. The next best 2 teams in each conference make up the wild cards. The best team in each conference will pick his poison.
There will be 3 rounds from week 15 to week 17.

The golden toilet brush tournament (pride only) will be played week 15,16, and 17 with the remaining teams participating.

6. Rosters
All teams will have no more than 14 players. The active positions for each week will be 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 2 WR/RB/TE, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 D for a total of 9. You can keep up to 5 reserve players. There will be no injured reserve. The site will allow you to put any combination of players in, but you must follow these rules or players will be deactivated by the commissioner.

7. Picking up players
There will be a waivers system. The waiver wire will start in reverse order from the draft picks. Jeff is in charge of teh waiver system. See site for details. Basically there is a $40 cap and a $1-$5 bid for waiver players. Ties go to higher waiver priority team. After people clear waivers tehy can be picked up for free as free agents.

8. Trades
After 2 teams agree upon a trade, there will be a vote by a 4 man committee. Rich Broad will help make up the rules for the commitee. Email Rich with questions and see site for more details.

Trades are free of charge.

3. Draft
The draft order was determined at the BBQ. The draft will consist of 14 rounds for the 16 teams.
I would strongly advise you be there for the draft, or put in a predraft list. DO NOT PUT IN A LIST IF YOU WILL BE THERE. If you are not there, the site will draft for you, based on your pre-rank list. If you are there the site will still use your predraft list if you have one. You will have to keep your list on paper. The draft will consist of 3 minutes per pick for teh first round. 2 minutes per pick for the next 2 rounds, then 1 minute per pick after that. Draft picks can be traded prior or during the draft.

11. Prizes
Win division= 150
Win 1st round game only = 150 +1/6 waiver $
Win semis= $350 + 1/3 of waiver $
Fantasy bowl winner= $650 + 1/3 of waiver money
Weekly top scorer= $25 per week (weeks 1-16

10. Defensive Scoring
The teams will earn points as follows:
TDs= 6 pts
Punt and Kickoff Return TDs= 6
Interception= 2 pts
Fumble recovery= 2 pts
Sack= 1 pt
Safety= 2 pts
Point Bonus
   Shutout= 10 points
1-7= 7 pts
   8 -14= 4 pts
   15-21= 1 pt
   22-28= 0 pt
   29-34= -1 pt
   36-42 = -4 pts
   43-49= -7 points
   >= 50= -10 points
Return touchdowns vs a team and safeties dont count against a defense

Yardage Bonus
0-49 = 5 pts
50-99= 4 pts
100-149= 3 pts
150-199 = 2pts
200-249= 1 pts
250-299 = 0pts
300-349= -1 pts
350-399 = -2pts
>= 400= -3 pts

12. The National Fantasy Football Computer Rankings
I have signed up our league for the national computer rankings.
It is a national top 25 of all fantasy teams that is generated through a computer program and consists of hundreds of leagues. The donation will be 50 cents per team and that will come out of $10 league fees.
