Some of u might think that Ethereal Items are suck ass,
but they are the items that have either the highest defense or damage of its type.
Now this works great on magical or rare items, cause you can get a self repairing item, but
with Uniques this is not so, you CANNOT get a self-repair mod on any unique. Your only choice
then is to socket quest it (if it doesn't have a socket already) and place a ZOD rune in it ;-)
if u find 1 ! If u do, please dont waste it on a unique (unless of course it is one of the
exeptionally great ELITE Uniques, of course) save it for the runeword item, which is bound
to be better (MUCH !!)

The weapon with the HIGHEST damage rating that I have found is Messerschmidts Reaver, the unique Champions Ax, strangley enough it only narrowly beats the Grandmasters ThunderMaul, meaning should you find a Cruel ThunderMaul it will eaily beat the damage of Messerschmidt...happy hunting.

Only thinking of doing elite items for magic and rare items, otherwise it would take up way 2 much time, and space !
