Rabbits are wonderful pets. However, they are not the "easy care" backyard children's pets they are commonly thought of. They require as much or more care than a dog or cat. The age of the house rabbit has come. Rabbits are quickly growing in popularity as house pets since they make great apartment pets and because of their natural sleeping and waking cycle fit nicely into the routines of working buisness people. In addition, unlike the other "fad" pet: ferrets, rabbits are not seen as dangerous, are perfectly legal in all areas, and are much less prone to stinkiness. Just as ferrets are not for everyone, neither are rabbits, but those who love them know that although they show their love very differently than dogs or cats, they are just as rewarding. The main purpose of this page is to help educate the misinformed masses of the myths and realities of pet rabbits and offer good solid information to those who already own, or are considering owning these fascinating animals.
