Do you know where and when I started skateboarding?
California! In 1974. My friends and I used to skateboard in swimming pools after we drained all the water out.
I will be helping kids learn how to skateboard this summer at Urayasu Sports park. See the details below.
LOCATION: Urayasu Sports Park (behind Tokyo Disneyland)
TIME: 09:00am to 12:00noon
COST: 0 yen
TRANSPORTATION: Eddie will pick up the children and take them home.
Fee to Dream Academy: 0 yen
Children will need to bring their own skateboard and pads. For beginners pads are not really needed, but for safety purposes it is required by the skateboard park.
If you want to buy a skateboard, the cheapest and best skateboards I have found are located in the sports shop on the 2nd floor of ITO YOKADO in Shin Urayasu. About \6,000 will get you set up.
As this is a popular event with many children, reservations are needed.
I can only take 5 children on one day so please be patient if the reservations are full.
