Lamin Rice Fields
Birds & Breakfast
Lamin Lodge located close to the small village Lamin is the start of the Birds & Breakfast tour. You will travel by man-powered boat through the Mangrove forests.
During this tour lots of birds can be seen, ranging from Terns to Plovers, Raptors to Kingfishers.
Afterwards breakfast is taken at the new Lamin Lodge. On April 20 2000 the previous Lamin Lodge was burned down completely. Fortunately a couple of months later Lamin Lodge was rebuilt.
Lamin Lodge not only provides excellent breakfast, lunch or diner, it also houses a group of Green vervet monkeys.
In between Lamin Lodge and the village, the rice-fields provide a great opportunity for bird-watching.
