Africa

Africa, Oh Africa

Africa, O Africa! Africa, O Africa! God's land!
Listen man, it's the original land, the Motherland!
O Africa! They say you are lost, deep dark and black,
It's still a mystery to me why they keep coming back
Who can deny you are the cradle of civilization,
The beginning of life, inspiration and education?
A heart like pure gold, that's exactly what they stole,
They only took from earth, but didn't touch your soul.

Filled with treasures of Kings, wisdom and advice,
Africa! You are God's rich land He called Paradise!
You've given birth to kingdoms, Pharaohs and Queens,
The truth shown in tombs, unlike the Hollywood scenes.
I feel you, O Mother of rhythm, song and dance,
The pulsating sounds of the drum induce a trance.
The world has worshipped, admired, yet hated you,
And that's funny, because all the world was birthed from you!

I love you, O Africa, for you have given to me,
America the beautiful, the sweet land of liberty.
Many millions of souls in the seas have been lost,
All of them perished in history's worst Black holocaust.
O Africa, you shall rise and stretch forth your hand,
In God's eyes, you are still the Promised Land.
Princes and Kings, will yet come out of thee,
And that's according to the Biblical Prophecy.
