Your Role...

...In Your Society

I've always been the kind of person who was dreaming about changing the world. I wanted to find a solution to all the problems around the world and to be finaly be able to live in a peaceful world. But then, I took a look at my life and the way I was living: I was fighting with my family and friends, I was spending my days complaining about my problems which always seemed like the biggest problems ever and I wouldn't even help where there was needs because I was too selfish and I didn't believe that it would actually make a change. When I realized that, I made some decisions. This is only about decisions. Serving your nation. Forget about our needs but the needs of others. And since I took that decision, there are a lot of things about my life that has changed and I'm now taking the time to invite you to take the some decisions because I think that we shouldn't even have the choice cause it's our duty.

You should give your time for free. You should help wherever there are needs. But do it with love. Cause if you don't, why doing it?. Do it with your heart or don't do it at all. Giving without having anything back in return is one of the key to happiness. I know that from my own experience. That's how you can have an impact with the people you are living with. Giving without counting, without expecting anything in return and giving with all our heart. Do volunteer work like helping in hospitals, serving food to less fortunate, giving money every week for the less fortunate, give blood... These are simple things but people won't do it because they keep focusing on themselves. If you stop focusing on yourself and your little problems, you may finaly see how simple life is. If you give only to satisfy your self concsience, it won't mean much. If you like kids, you could, for example, work with handicap kids who are by themselves in the hospitals. If you like to work outside, look for volunteer work that could be done outside. That way, you can help with your smile!

There are other things, simple things that you can do. Just be an
example. An example of rigthousness, an exemple of love.
Serve your friends. Believe in friendship and if your friends don't
act like a true friends to you, show them how they should act.
Just listening to someone if they need someone to talk to can
make a lot of difference on someone's life. Cooking for them,
clean their bedroom when they are too busy studying. These
are all examples that you could use to make an impact in your
friends life. We all want to do something about the poverty around
the world. But we think that we have to down there, like to Afrca,
for example, to help. But this is not true. There are so many
non-profit organizations which collects money to help. I could give
you so many other ideas that you could do to serve your nation.
But I think we already know all this. This is only a matter of decisions.

If you're really one of these dreamers who dream about a better world and change the world, start near you and that's how you're really going to make an impact in people's lives and you will understand the joy of giving.
