I was in an alien land with Al. We were driving through it on a school bus. We passed purple, blasted fields and blue trees. Eventually, we drove past a bunch of evil goblin-type aliens that were wearing iron shoes. They were making weapons, and they were shaping them by getting on top of the molten metal and dancing on it. The instant we saw them, we knew that this horde wanted to take over the world. Al looked at me, I looked at Al. With fear in his eyes, he demanded that we go to his house so we could warn Suzanne. I agreed, and we did a quick 180 and floored it back to Al’s house. (Al apparently lives in a subdivision close to me, in the house across the street from where one of my pals used to live.) Al dashed inside to warn Suzanne, and I decided that I should take Al’s belongings in so that the evil aliens couldn’t take them. I carried in a pair of flippers and a few armloads of random stuff that was just sitting on their steps. I looked in the window to see what Al was doing to prepare for the alien invasion. Al and Suzanne were having dinner. I sighed and turned around, staring into the field of giant mushrooms. A distant boom shot through the air. I stiffened, and peered into the darkness. The boom sounded again, closer. I took a step backward. The boom sounded again, almost deafening. Tiny yellow eyes suddenly gleamed out of the darkness. I yelped and dashed toward the house. It was locked. I whirled around and saw the evil army closing in on me. Suddenly, a barbarian hero leaped out of the shadows, swung his sword a few times, and the army disappeared back into the mushrooms. I pounded on the door, and Al opened it. “Yes?” “Al, the army! They’re here! Let me in!” I dashed inside, cowering in the staircase. Al slammed the door, locked it, and peeked out the window. “That army…they’ll make it all the way to Morpork!” he gasped. And then I woke up. My Take On It Next Dream |
