For some reason, I'm a man in a flannel bathrobe. I'm sleeping on the couch, and I'm surrounded by electronics. TV, VCR, DVD, you name it, it's there. It was a small room too. So there I am, asleep, and the computer flashes on- LOG IN. LOG IN. I'm still asleep, so I have no idea it's on. Eventually, it shuts down and all the electronics vanish into the tabletops-they literally sink down, leaving only their remote controls. -Break- (basically the dream switched really fast to the next bit) I wake up-female again-and my dad and my uncle Doug decide to go get some fast food. So we clamber into the van-a green semi-new one-and take off. We drive for about five hours, then turn around to come home. (I live two minutes from Fast Food Alley-I don't know why it took so long to get there.) I'm drowsing in the back when I hear "that new news show" mentioned. It had a name-I forgot it. And then, my uncle says, "Hey-isn't that the one hosted by Steve Jay?" My dad says "Yeah-and it's on right now! Megan, turn on the TV." I turn to the right and there it is- a huge TV. I flip it on, and it plays the show-featuring a new music video by Al. It was like the Star Wars one, except it was just the five of them, all dressed in black. (Much like the video for Headline News, with the added bonus that I came up with that all on my own. I’d never seen the video for “News” before, although now I have.) And they were singing "Velvet Elvis". They zoom in on each guy individually, Ruben, Jon, Steve, Jim, and then Al. Al has his short-hair wig on. -Break again- Now we have the food, and are running back home. We're running next to this rail, like the kind at amusement parks, that was called the Yankorail. (I dunno...) We had to touch it or the evil bad thing (which was never described, seen, felt, heard, whatever,) would bite us. So there we are, sliding our hands along this rail, when we notice a five foot gap in it. Somehow, we each keep a foot on the old rail while we grab the new one. Picture me and two middleaged men (who are working on expanding their bellies) doing this. It’s quite amusing. ;) We keep running, and then we spot the van. (There it is!) We dive inside, slam the doors, and I go to turn on the TV- and then I had to wake up and pack for our trip to Ohio. My Take On It Next Dream |
