I was attending my new class-Radio Broadcast, taught by the one and only Kim and some other lady who never bothered to introduce herself. Kim (who was clad in a Hawaiian shirt and flip-flops) was showing us around the station, telling us what button to push when and what they all did. Then she let us all go, because we’d behaved ourselves during the lesson. As I walked along, Andrew came by and asked for my camera. I lent it to him, telling him to be very careful with it. He nodded, stuck it in his pocket, and ran full speed in the other direction. I walked past a forest clearing where there was a roller coaster and a miniature golf course, and I knew it had to be Disneyland. A bunch of hooded folks were getting a tour through the golf course. I decided to take the afternoon off and go have fun in Disney. Just then, Ben and Kerstin showed up to go along with me. I decided that now I wanted my camera, and I was getting very angry with myself that I had let Andrew have it. And just as I thought those words, Andrew showed up, jogging towards me with my camera held in his hands. I held out my hand for it, and he held it high above his head. (In real life, Andrew is quite tall. And I’m…well, I’m not tall.) I started jumping up, trying to get it out of his hands, and he stood still, hands raised, with this supercilious little smirk on his face. “Come ON, Andrew. There’s a picture on that camera of me under Bermuda under Rubén in the conebra live in concert!” (I suppose I was on a break from touring with the guys. The picture (what I thought it looked like) was me sitting on the stage. I had just fallen on my butt, because Rubén had rammed Bermuda with his butt and Bermuda ended up skidding into me. Al, as I recall, was standing at the main microphone, rolling his eyes as the three of us laughed ourselves silly in our little dogpile.) Anyway, after I told Andrew about the precious film inside the camera, he gave it back to me right away. My Take On It Next Dream |
