My Take On It
To begin with, I've been a Red Dwarf fan for much longer than I have been an Al fan. Before I was introduced to Al's work, I spent much of my free time surfing the net for Red Dwarf sites, watching Red Dwarf, or occasionally attempting some horrible fanfiction.
Then, in early January of 2000, I first heard Al. I suddenly had something new to concentrate on-Running with Scissors never left my CD player until after my first concert, when I discovered that Al had more than one CD out. (Silly me.) The time I'd spent on Red Dwarf suddenly switched over to Al.
In the summer, having nothing better to do, I decided to go back to Red Dwarf for a while. Thus, this dream.

The episode where Lister becomes a father-erm, mother-has always been one of my favorites. I love the looks on their faces at the very end of the episode. And for a time, Tongue Tied was my all time favorite song, so I watched that episode about half a bajillion times. I guess this dream was my head's way of telling me that now Al was just as important as Red Dwarf, if not more so-the way Rimmer would try to be better than Al, but Al would top whatever Rimmer did.

Moving on. Next dream!
