I happened to have the TV on VH1 while I was sprawled out in the living room. Rock and Roll Jeopardy was on, with Al! The only thing was, he didn’t have a Hawaiian shirt on. Fact is, he didn’t have ANY shirt on. (Tongues back in mouths, ladies. ;) And be sure to get that drool off your chin.) Of course, I was glued to the TV. Didn’t take my eyes off it. After it was over, it suddenly hit me-everyone else on the show had all their clothes on. Why did Al not have his shirt on? So I hopped in my car and drove over to his house. (I didn’t know Al lived in my hometown…) I knocked on the door, and Al answered. “Hi Al. I was just wondering…um…why weren’t you wearing a shirt when you were on Rock and Roll Jeopardy?” “Oh, come in, I’ll show you.” He led me to the rec room and showed me some footage from some of his music videos (Eat It, Smells Like Nirvana, and one other…possibly I Love Rocky Road) where he was again shirtless. And somehow, the videos proved that Al had a right to be shirtless whenever he wanted to be. I've heard of the right to 'bare arms'...but that's just getting ridiculous. ;) My Take On It Next Dream |
