This one started out with a Betsy-lady (she looked almost identical to Betsy, founder of the Stupid Club) going off on her own. She was leaving her family, who didn’t care much about her, and she was going somewhere where her talents would be appreciated. Meanwhile, I was busy planning Al and Suzanne’s wedding and reception. I was putting the finishing touches on my centerpiece for the reception. It was a thing of beauty. Instead of the traditional wedding cake, I had planned (with Al and Suzanne’s complete agreement) that we should have life-size models of the two holding hands. They were made completely out of chocolate. Well, all except for Al’s head-that was made out of green gelatin. It looked really cute-Al in his WAY Live! Gump outfit, Suzanne in her wedding dress. They had such happy, peaceful looks on their faces.
Well, the reception went wonderfully (I missed the wedding so that I could make the chocolate couple). Al and Suzanne were so happy. All the guests (the members of the Stupid club, as pictured by my subconscious) were doing the bang-on-the-glass-with-utensils trick, so the newlyweds were kept occupied. Then, it was time for the centerpiece. I wheeled it out-many ooh’s and aaah’s-and presented it. The members of the club stood up and wandered over to it, forming a line and fighting over which bit of Al they got to eat. “I want his hand!” “I want his left foot!” It got crazy. But the two stars of the night didn’t care-they were too busy over there in the corner. People were still banging on glasses as they laughed to see the antics of the club pouncing on bits of Al and hauling them away.
Well, then I checked in again on the Betsy-lady. She was making a video last will and testament and showing it to her family. Everyone was sitting on one couch (about ten people) and sobbing their hearts out. Even this little boy had these big tears in his eyes, just watching the Betsy-lady talk about who she was leaving her punch bowl to. Suddenly, the lady poked her head out of the TV and told her family “I’m not dead yet” and they all were happy again. She even patted the sad boy’s leg, to make him feel better.

Well Al, it was a lot of fun being at your reception...you jello head. ;) Congrats to the happy couple!
