Anzu is a very honest, driven sort of character and not alot of things can bring her down. After everything that she's been through and had to witness, it's a wonder why she hasn't had a breakdown yet. Anzu is often seen worrying about her friends and on Kaiba's blimp, she even snaps at Yami Yuugi to stop coddling her because she doesn't want to be left out in anything - all she really wants to do is try and help out with everything that's happening but knows ultimately that all she can do is to just be there for everyone.


Her loyalty towards her friends is admirable - Yuugi in particular. She was visibly terrified when Sugoroku was telling them about the terrible things that occured with the Sennen Puzzle. But you know what? She's still standing firm by Yuugi's side, (Jounouchi and Honda too) despite the near death experiances... Not alot of people would be so inclined to do so.



Like Yuugi tells us, Anzu's quite strong-minded. She's never afraid to speak her mind, always willing to stand up for herself, for her friends and for what she believes in. She's also assertive when she needs to be and has a bit of a temper at times but doesn't really hold grudges.


But of course, nobody is perfect and Anzu's no exception. To a certain extent, she can be too overbearing and especially naive (claiming that she'd "fallen in love" with Yami Yuugi... way before she even knew who he was).


What she wants most from her life is to go to America and study dance. She saves up for it with her part time job, even though her school doesn't allow it. She's not stupid though, she knows that it's going to be hard making it come true but she has the most unbelievable faith in herself. And that's all that one really needs (that and talent but we already know she's a kickass dancer).
