Speech Pattern

Anzu is pretty polite in that she uses suffixes on most people's names but drops them with her closest friends. These lists are based on what I've heard in the original japanese anime.


Yuugi: Yuugi
Yami Yuugi: Mou hitori no Yuugi ("the other Yuugi")
Jounouchi: Jounouchi
Honda: Honda
Bakura: Bakura-kun
Otogi: Otogi-kun
Shizuka: Shizuka-chan
Mai: Mai-san
Kaiba: Kaiba-kun
Mokuba: Mokuba-kun
Malik: Malik, Namu-kun (when he was pretending to be Namu)
Isis: Isis-san
Sugoroku: Ojisan (can be a polite address for an unrelated man older than the speaker)
Rishid: Rishid-san
Pegaus: Pegasus
