Into the darkness of the night.

I saw a bright star shinning,

And a small one to it's right.

The large one kept blinking brighter.

Until the darkness began to fade.

It looked like a light in a tunnel,

That had come to show me the way.

I heard a whisper of voices beside me,

I heard the flutter of little wings.

I felt a cool breeze blow by me.

In the distance a choir did sing.

As I stood there gazing above me.

The small star fell down from the sky.

It started dancing around me.

And whispered,"No more tears..Don't cry."

I felt a touch on my cheek like a feather,

As gentle..as gentle could be.

It took a tear from my eye and whispered,

"This one belongs to me."

There was a flutter of wings beside me.

Grabbing tears before they could fall.

They felt like tiny kisses,

I heard a whisper,"We love you all."

Then two tiny giggles I did hear,

As the light began to fade.

The night was no longer silent,

As I stood there and began to pray.

I had been kissed by my little angels,

They were telling me things were alright.

I stood there gazing about me,

In the darkness of the night.

My soul seems to be at peace now,

And my heart is free from pain.

The gentle kisses of my angels,

I know I will feel again.
