| NEW: Horses will only need TWO sessions from a trainer or horse backer... not the full 4!! This is because they were ridden before they were here they just need a "refresher" course sort of. The rescue center is where neglected horses go. For no cost at all, you can adopt a poor horse that needs lots of love and care! You will need to fill out this form: Name: Email: Horse To Adopt: Horse's Show Name: and then you are done! Don't forget... if you adopt a horse, then you need to give it lots of love and attention! You can make up all of the stats exept the ones give, such as: Name, Show Name, Age, Gender, and Breed. You can add stuff to the info, but you can not start over with it! | HORSES AT THE RESCUE CENTER: Stacy - 3 y/o Holstein Mare Other - Trained in Dressage in the past, will be pretty easy to train. Tanner - 9 y/o Gypsy Vanner Gelding Other - Trained in Showing in the past, neglected by a rich in-hand stable owner Adopted by Hannah Sam - 1 y/o Thoroughbred Colt Other - Not trained before, abused quite a bit and was halfway done being broken in to racing. Very early start and needs to mature still. Dice - 15 y/o Quarter Horse Mare Other - Previously trained and champion in Western, Dice was very nice but now won't work with anyone... she is very distrustful and will only go to an experienced handler. Flash - 7 y/o Rocky Mountain Gelding Other - Previously a trail horse, was abused and then spooked and broke his leg at a stream... he was a stallion at the time so they gelded him. Flame - 9 y/o Arabian Stallion Other - Flame, (Blinding Flame), the only stallion that has ever been here, but he has definately improved his temperment. He has a wonderful, flowing and easy trot. He was left alone and turned sour, so they gave him up. He should make a wonderful pleasure horse with the right handler, but will not be a good jumper. Adopted by Hannah Savy - 3 y/o Arabian Mare Other - Savy, who's full name is Flaming Savannah, is a wonderful looking mare. She came from the place that Flame was, and they have bonded. They should be kept in the same stable but not necessarily by the same owner. They have gotten into a habit of biting each other and sometimes kicking out and playing around, but Savy is a nice mare. She hasn't been broken in yet and is mainly a broodmare. Adopted by Hannah |
