Warm Cloth Sig Tag Tutorial
(Dancing Beauty)

For this tutorial you will need:
Paint Shop Pro - Download a trial version here
Crescent Moon Filter - A Free filter which can be downloaded here
Alf's Border Fx - A Free Filter which can be downloaded here
Eye Candy 4000 Filter - Purchase filter here
Super Blade Pro - Purchase filter here
You can get the tube and font I am using by clicking here . I used a tube I received from a newsgroup. If this is your image and you would like it removed please contact me.

Please keep in mind when doing my tutorials that the settings I am using are just the ones I used when I created it, feel free to change any of them you wish!

STEP ONE
Open transparent image of 500 x 500.

STEP TWO
Open tube of choice or one I have used here.
If you are using the image I am it will be called "dancingbeauty.psp".

STEP THREE
Edit/Copy tube

STEP FOUR
Edit/Paste as new layer on transparent image.

STEP FIVE
Duplicate image

STEP SIX
Turn off copy of layer 2.
Highlight layer 2.

STEP SEVEN
Pick up clone brush and use these settings:
Shape:Round
Size:32
Hardness:0
Opacity:100
Step:25
Density:100
Build Up: Unchecked

Using clone brush in downward strokes clone until all of layer 2 is cloned downward.


STEP NINE
Next go to effects/Crecent moon/warm cloth/Using default settings.
Effect Depth:77
Bleed:46
Horizontal spacing:26
Vertical Spacing:155
Halo:0
Red Reduction:0
Green Reduction:0
Blue Reduction:0
Hit okay.


STEP TEN
Highlight copy of layer 2.
Drop Shadow
Vertical/Horizontal:2
Opacity:100
Blur:10
Color:Black


STEP ELEVEN
Highlight layer 2 and apply same drop shadow as above.


STEP TWELVE
Now highlight layer 1 and flood fill with #B86CFD or color of choice.


STEP THIRTEEN
Now turn off copy of layer 2.
And now make sure you are clicked onto layer 2 and select layers, merge, merge visible. (this will merge your background and your warm cloth layers.)
Open Selection tool
Shape:Rectangle
Feather:0
Antialias:Checked


STEP FOURTEEN
On your merged layer choose a small section with your selection tool.
Then go to selections/convert to seamless pattern.
We will get back to this pattern in a bit.
STEP FIFTEEN
Next go to effects/Alf's Border Fx/Border Checkers/Default settings.
Number of Divisions:6
Background Red:255
Green:255
Blue:255
External X:5
External Y:10
Internal X:15
Internal Y:20

You should now have something like this


STEP SIXTEEN
Select white border with your magic wand
Tolerance/Feather: both 0
Sample Merged unchecked


STEP SEVENTEEN
On your styles box click patterns and select your seamless pattern that you made earlier
Scale:100
Angle:353


Flood fill your white border with this pattern.
Selections/Invert

STEP EIGHTEEN
Effects/Eye Candy 4000/Cutout, These settings:
Direction:270
Distance:1.44
Blur:35.00
Opacity:100
Color:Black
Keep orginal image: checked
Hit ok.


STEP NINETEEN
Selections/Invert
Keep selected
Effects/EyeCandy 4000/Glass, These Settings:
Basic:
Bevel Width:7.20
Smoothness:0
Edge Darkening:0
Gradient Shading:10
Refraction:75
Opacity:0
Tinting:50
Glass Color:White


Lighting:
Direction:101
Inclination:84
Highlight Size:25
Highlight Color:White
Ripple Thickness:40
Ripple Width:6.00
Random Seed:505


Bevel Profile
Grooved
Sharp corner:Unchecked
Hit ok.


STEP TWENTY
Select none
Go into your layer pallette and take the red x off the layer that has your tube on it.

STEP TWENTY-ONE
New Layer
Text/Airstream or font of choice.
Size:36
Floating/Antialias
Stroke Color:#C0C0FF
Fill Color:#FFFFFF
Type in the text you want on your tag



STEP TWENTY-TWO
Effects/Super Blade Pro/Be_shinyplum or SBP preset of choice.
Effects/3D effects/Drop Shadow These settings:
Vertical/Horizontal:2
Opacity:100
Blur:15
Color: #9400FF


Selections/Select none
Merge/merge all
Resize to 65%
Effects/sharpen/sharpen X's 2
Save as JPG file
