However, before you start thinking this is a one-time, fill-out-a-form type of thing... you need to know that things have changed. We always prided ourselves on being great friends. We got to know each other years ago, and still keep in touch with each other today. However, in the past we accepted anyone into our guild. This lead to HUGE numbers (we're talking hundreds) of both active and non-active members. It also put a strain on our guild, as it was impossible to keep up with the numbers that would join and drop daily. Eventually, it lead to the guild leader (me) burning out, and the guild becoming inactive.
Now to join, you must first meet us, play games with us, and really become part of our circle of friends. We chat in channel Beginners Only. (We have been there for years, so no, we're not beginners... it's just an old Diablo channel name.)
Type "/join Beginners Only" everytime you log on. Make it a habit. Talk to us. I'm KittieKatt. Gruntt is a co-leader. Add us to your friends list. We'll introduce you to others if you ask. If you see ~SOB at the end of someone's name... be friends with them. They are friends of ours. In fact, be polite to everyone in the channel (if at all possible), ~wynne, Emmerald~Storm, Ares~God~of~War, ~Asia~, Kitten{NFC}, VampRemy... tons of others.... they've all been there longer than you, so show some respect. ;) Get ICQ. Add me to your list. Invite us to a game when you go online.
It's really not hard. But if you don't want to be friends, why would you want to hang out with us, and play our games? We are cool people, we are generous, we'll help set you up, we'll have loads of fun... but this is not a charity. It's a clan with a tight-knit, band-together, stick-up-for-each-other, and make-each-other-laugh kinda format.
