| The trophy photo was taken for the "Joliet Herald News" during the presentation of the 1st Place Senior Regional trophy for the 1963 Revell-Pactra contest. Funny, I first saw the trophy in a downtown Bank's window ! I didn't even know it was in town. I suppose they must have been a sponsor and it sat in that window for some weeks. | |||||||||||||||||

| Upon entering the US Army, I got out of the hobby from 1965 through 2003. During those years I made a career of map making from aerial photography, thus my interest in photogrammetry, the art and science of measurement from photographs. You will see me use these techniques in model building. | |||||||||||||||||
