How are the images made?

Open with Photoshop and rotate the brand name up.

Photograph the tire. Used car lots, parking lots and even junk yards for the vintage tires.

Find tire diameter with measuring tool in pixels. Crop height and width to this dimension.

Resize to 640x640 and use circular selection of 640 and paint out background.

Place a selection around lettering and subtract to center mark. Move lettering into exact position.

Using a 320x320 rectangular selection find the center and mark it. Find the diameter of lettering.

Measure and place the rim selection and paint out rim white.  Then use invert the selection and paint rim edge black.

It's now ready for threshold command.
