Hope this is of interest. The Shelby seemed to need a section job judging by a overlay like this. But the vertical error seemed to be evenly distributed. If you have ever noticed, the auto makers like to use view cameras to make the cars look lower and longer. Look at any Pontiac wide track ad from the 60s. The Shelby didn't need a section job the Milano photo needed to be stretched back. |

As seen in the above picture the hood needs an extension. I figure the Milano's hood is extended 6 inches. So out she goes. |

Grill cowl formed and extending the fender ridge line pulled forward with putty. |

Making individual taillight veins seemed impractical, so I decided to make it from a solid piece of styrene. The grooves will be painted red. The plastic is being held down with double sided tape. The back of the Xacto blade was flattened a bit using a bench grinder to make a wider groove. |

The license plate is now boxed in. The reference photos show the plate actually tips down, so I made it a similar angle. U.S.plates are 6x12 inches so I made the box 7x13mm to accomodate this.. |

The taillights installed and the ends have been built up to match the photos. These need to be filled. |
