Rules
for Members |
1)
Members of the Alternative Nation are expected to be courteous and
respectful of those around them.
2)
Aggressive recruitment will not be tolerated. A prospective member should
never be asked more than once to join. Do not even bring up the issue unless
you know the person. There are three rules that prospective members must
qualify:
1. The character must be level 50 or
Above.
2. The character must have the recommondation of a current AN member
of good status.
3. The character must understand the clan guidelines and agree with all
rules and commitments.
3)
Never speak ill of another clan.
4)
Members may join other clans but certain restrictions will be imposed on them:
1. Those who have an alternate character in a clan other than AN must
identify themselves to a leader or co-leader. The name of the character
does not have to be given, but the fact you're in another clan must be.
2. Those in multi-clans can not attain a rank above the fifth.
5)
Members must never disobey a Leader, Co-Leader, or Immortal.
They are
at higher ranks for a reason, and they know what's best.
Listen to them and make the MUD a more enjoyable, balanced
place for you and everyone else.
6)
Demotions may occur at any time if the above rules are
ignored, or if seen fit by a Leader or Co-leader.

Rules
for Co-Leaders and Leaders |
1)
Any donations of Gold must be handed over to the Leader, as the
Leader is the only one who can spend it towards Clan Upgrades.
2)
If a promotion or demotion occurs, it must be brought up with the
Leader beforehand. If a player is absolutely in need of a demotion
at the present time, note the Leader afterwards with your reason.
3)
Co-Leaders and Leaders are expected to communicate with each other,
and to respect each other as you would be expected to as a lower
rank member.
4)
This applies to lower members also, you must respect them and treat
them equally, higher power doesn't mean you can be a bully or
pressure anyone into anything. They are your clan, and friends, not
your slaves.
5)
Inactivity or failure to do your duties will result in demotion, no
questions asked.
Definition of Inactivity for a Co-Leader or Leader:
1. Not logging on at least 3 times a week
for a total period of 10 hours.
2. Playing peekaboo by signing on long
enough to check notes and leave.
