| Kouyama Mitsuki is a 12 year old girl who dreams to become a singer. She made a promise to her friend, Eichi, that she would be a singer and he an astronaut and that they would find each other one day in the future. Tragically, her dreams are at risk when she suffers throat cancer. To be able to live, Mitsuki must have her vocal cords removed which then, she will no longer be able to speak nor sing. Mitsuki is met by 2 spirits, Takuto and Meroko, together called "The Gods of Death". They came to her to inform her that she has only 1 year to live. Now Mitsuki is more eager to make success of her dream before it's too late. Her grandmother doesn't allow Mitsuki to go out of the house or does she let her even sing in the house so now her promise is even more complicated to complicated to keep. With the help of Takuto and Meroko, she is able to defy her grandmother's beliefs and reach farther for her goal. Though she passed her grandmother's complication, she now has another trouble that stops her path. In order to be a singer, she must be at least 16 years old. So Takuto gives Mitsuki a pill which allows her to transform into a 16 year old girl, but it is not permanent. With this tecnique, she stands a chance at keeping her promise and her dream. |
