| Redburn Dene Timber Feature Many areas of the river Tyne are being 'regenerated' with much of the old industries of fishing, mining and ship building having virtually collapsed. The Redburn Dene is one of these areas and is a pleasant landscaped green zone, with some newer businesses opening nearby. These features were created alongside old wagonways using original timbers.
