Problem Solving Model

Problem Recognition	Identify if the problem is technical or communication orientated. Then identify the symptoms by researching the methods.
Problem Labeling	Identify and label sides of conflict. Always define both sides of conflict.
Problem Cause and Analysis	Get to the root cause of the problem, move away from the symptoms.
Optional Solutions	Define five to ten solutions and rate them.
Decision Making	Choose the best solution of the top three discussed in optional solutions.
Action Planning	Get the decision implemented correctly and evaluate.
Evaluate	If the problem is not resolved move back to step five and try next option.
