BASIC RULES

NOTE: The items included in the following list are the few exceptions made to the tournament. All following adjustments will be enforced:

There will be TWO certified referees per field.

1. There will be a limit of 24 teams, thus 6 groups with 4 teams per group

2. There will be 7 members from each team on the field at one time with unlimited substitution

3. Games will be 20 minutes long, each registered team will be guaranteed 3 games

4. The point totals will be calculated as follows: 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, 0       points for a loss

5.  The winner of each group (highest number of points) and 1 best second will              advance to the next round

6.  If there is a tie in point totals among teams advancing from the first round, then the     tie breaker will go to overall net goal differential (maximum differential per game is 5).  For example, if in the first round a teams score for Game 1 is 4-1, Game 2 is 1-7, and Game 3 is 6-0 their overall net goal differential is 3(game1)-5(game 2)+5(game 3)= 3. In the case that there is still a tie the teams will go to penalty kicks

7.  After the first round, it is single elimination from then on, and there will be no             ties.  In case of a tie a 5 min sudden death over time will be played,                              followed by penalty kicks if teams remain tied.

8.  There will be no toleration for fighting, it will result in immediate expulsion of the        player(s).

9.  FIFA rules apply as far as out of bounce goes including corner kicks and goal            kicks
10.  A player may not pass it back to the goalie and the goalie pick it up.

11. Teams who do not show up for the game on time will forfeit the game and                the opponents will recieve 3 points as well as the maximum goals for of 5

12. If your team loses, you cannot join on a team that is still playing in the tournament. Otherwise your team will have to forfeit.

13. The cash prize for the winning team is based on 24 teams

14.  Most importantly have fun and play fair!
