| Top Ten Best Horror Movies | |||||||||||||||
| Apparently when I type "(in my opinion)", it means nothing to people. This list is MY opinion. I am not claiming to be an expert on horror movies, nor am I stating that my top ten favorites must be everyone's favorites. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and it makes me frustrated when people are rude to me, simply because I stated MY opinion. I accept the fact that other people have their own opinions, so please let me have mine. Having said that, here are my top ten: | |||||||||||||||

| 1. The Exorcist- No doubt about it. Scariest movie of all time. 2. Night Of The Living Dead (b&w)- Yeah, you might not like the idea of watching a movie in black and white. But the remake just isn't as good. Trust me. 3. The Serpent And The Rainbow- A really good creepy movie. It was definitely unsettling at parts and really cool. 4. Nightmare On Elm Street- The best one in the series. The sequels were just lame. (with the exception of Dream Warriors. that one was pretty good) 5. Pet Sematary- I had forgotten about this one until someone wrote in my Guestbook about it. My mistake, this definately belongs on the list. Very creepy. Very scary. 6. Halloween- Classic horror movie. And I love the theme music. 7. The Omen- Rediculously scary and creepy. Scariest kid ever. Scariest use of a choir ever. Just plain scary. 8. Poltergeist- Definately one of my all time favorites. Coined the classic phrase "They're here!" 9. Hellraiser- Pretty scary but really gory. It had some groundbreaking special effects for the time, and they still look awesome and gross. 10. Jeepers Creepers- Many aren't crazy about this one, but I love it. I think the plot and tension unwind very nicely, and I love the brother/sister dynamic. It does get a little cheesy towards the end, but I'm so invested in the characters that I don't care. I really dig it this movie and recommend giving it a chance. |
