| Top Ten Worst Horror Movies | |||||||||||||||
| Apparently when I type "(in my opinion)", it means nothing to people. This list is MY opinion. I am not claiming to be an expert on horror movies, nor am I stating that my top ten favorites must be everyone's favorites. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and it makes me frustrated when people are rude to me, simply because I stated MY opinion. I accept the fact that other people have their own opinions, so please let me have mine. Having said that, here are my top ten: | |||||||||||||||

| 1. Ticks- Some really stupid movie about mutant ticks. 'Nuff said. 2. The Ring 2- This was pretty damn stupid. I loved the first one, but the sequel just didn't compare. Hopefully the Japanese version wasn't as lame as this one. 3. Texas Chainsaw Massacre- I know a lot of you horror movie fans are probably gasping. How can I hate such a "classic"? Well...I just do. There wasn't much of a plot, just random killings. Not my cup of tea. 4. Return Of The Living Dead III- Downright laughable. 5. An American Werewolf In Paris- Doesn't even compare to "American Werewolf In London." This movie never should have been made. 6. The Exorcist II: The Heretic- This movie made no sense at all. And what as with the African tribal chanting? 7. Sleepers- Not one of Stephen King's best movies. A movie about a mom and son who are really giant cat people. The only good thing about this movie is that someone gets killed with an ear of corn. That scene is hysterical. 8. The Children- This is an older movie about kids that can kill people by hugging them. It's really stupid I know, but I saw it when I was 10 years old. So it freaked me out. But looking back, I know how stupid it really was. 9. Scream 2 & 3- They didn't suck completely, but they just couldn't compare to the first one. The original was so great, my expectations were just too high for the sequels to compete with. They were just...eh... 10. The Blair Witch Project- I don't know why people got so excited about this movie. It went on and on and on. There was very little interesting dialog, the plot was barely held together and the actors filming just did not work. I got motion sickness from watching in the theatre. I think a lot of people still think this was real. IT WAS NOT REAL. These were not three "real" students who "really" got lost and were never heard from again. They are actors and are doing just fine. I think the premise behind this movie was really interesting and the PR scheme was absolutely brilliant. But I think the actual movie was highly disappointing when I think about how awesome it could have been. |
