Head on into the city called the "Big Easy". Adventure awaits, city of romance and intrigue, great food, and beautiful women. City of Jazz, Blues, where Jack Daniels is walking the streets. Artists are painting in the alleys. Ghosts are spotted too. The ghost of Jean Lafitte is stalking the Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop. He's been seen eating oysters on the half shell where-as his brother Pierre Lafitte is seen eating crayfish etouffee'. People are dancing in the streets and lovers are sittin' in juke -box cozy bars, kissing in public. People are above your head on the French wrought-iron balconies and wave as you walk by. Ice cream parlors , and praline shops entice the sweetness of the night. The moon is brightly shining over the Crescent City Muddy Mississip'. The city lights are as colorful with excitement as your eyes. Come with me to the Cafe' Dumonde' to get some cafe au latte' and chicory to taste. Madelyn's there to feed you her French pastry with jelly and tea. The levee with ships passing by can be seen out my back window for a view. Is there anything to do down here y'all?? You tell me. What more can you want, except to ask , may I have this dance, and to sing some Jazz with my friend the piano man! by Dottie Fontaine.
