Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop

Come with me to
the piano bar.
where the jazz is hot
and the piano man
is my friend.
We'll sing some songs,
just sing-a-long.
Dance with me to
the tune of "Misty".
It's a romantic spot
to take your date.
Don't be late!
The name of the bar is
Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop,
right on Bourbon Street.
the oldest bar in America!

Once owned by Pierre and
Jean' Lafitte, the Pirates.
Built in 1772, Lafitte's Bar,
has survived the "Great Fire"
of the 1800's
in the French Quarter.
Located at 941 Bourbon
& St. Phillip
French Quarter,
New Orleans, La.

Come hear the piano tunes
from the charming pianist,
Johnny Gordon,
playing a variety
of music from
old jazz, to oldies,
ragtime, swing, Latin,
blues, and more.
Your request will
be played for you.
Join us with an
intriguing rendezvous,
one that you'll never forget.

Many ghosts have been
seen there by many
tourists and locals.
Also, known as the fifth
most haunted building
in the world.
Tell me if the old pirate men
greet you as you come in.
All candlelit for lovers
to enjoy the romantic
antiquated atmosphere
at Jean Lafitte's
Blacksmith Shop.
Wanna have fun?
This is the place!
