Born on February 25,'43,in Liverpool England.When he was 13 he started playing guitar.He and fellow Beatles joined a band called the Quarry Men,which later became known as the Beatles.
When the Beatles broke up,Harrison started writing his own music and formed "Darkhorse" Records in '74.Besides collaborating with other artists as Dylan and Clapton,he starred in movies and formed a film production company called Homemade Films.He even wrote his own autobiography.
In '88 he and the other Beatles were inducted into the Rock'N'Roll Hall Of Fame.In '92 he was awarded with the Billboards Century Award as well as several Grammys and Oscars while working with the Beatles.In the spring of '01 he had surgery to remove cancer from one of his lungs.On November 29,'01 he died from cancer. |
