| Sunday Jan 20, 2002 Went to Big Day Out the other day!! Took my friend Andrea to it and she had a great time. This was her 1st Big Day Out and my 3rd. Once again I did a bit of moshing, this year to Prodigy. They were as good as ever. I must say that Alien Ant Farm is very over rated. What gives anyway??? I mean they redo a Mikey Jackson song and everyone thinks they are great? I dont get it! System of a Down are really good though, they kick ass, as do White Stripes, really liked them too. Well Renee of Tadpole looked as good as ever, but damn never saw her look bad. Andi kinda likes them ever since I gave her a Tadpole album about a year ago. OK who can tell me the group that covered the Ramones I Wanna Be Sedated????? It rocked but I dont know who did it. Garbage was good too and well seemed to make people happy when it rained OK bad joke but damn Shirley Manson has a killer voice. OK once again my favourite band was SHIHAD!!! Johnny and the boys kicked ass big time and the new shit kicks ass. Sucks that they are changing thier name. Cant wait to find out what it will be. |
| Friday Feb 8, 2002 Well Ive been spending too many late nights here at the computer. I am pretty happy with the new look of my site. But in looking for some cool things to link to on the links page I said to myself, "Hey remember Otter Pops" and well I started searching I found a great site too Unofficial Otter Pop Homepage anyways it has more info on them than I can believe, and well seems there is a bit of mystery surounding them and well I just have been spending some very late nights here searching for info and even been in contact with the guy who runs the page. He hasnt updated it in a long time but he thinks he may now with some of the new info I have given him. Its all good anyway. Also I may not be on for a while as the computer seems to be acting up. Andi tried to rework it last night but no go. Try again later and if no go we may have to get it serviced. Well tomorrows the big day here our first real chance to entertain guests. Almost 10am now and I better log off and get some stuff done, will update next week I hope. |

| Wed Feb. 19, 2002 Quite a lot since the last update. The housewarming party was great, wasnt sure at first how the weather was going to be but it turned out great. About 16 people all together, great food, drinks and music. Im just glad that everyone made it and had a great time. Well we didnt make it to the Sum 41 show on the 12th, but we did get to see POD & Blindspot on the 16th. I really cant wait until March 23rd when I get to see Creed. I got great tickets for the show at Western Springs. |
| Fri March 15, 2002 Just trying to get the most out of the fleeting days of summer as I can. Thinking of taking everyone up to Mission Bay next week. Im still wanting a new car, went and drove a Holden Monaro the other day and must say its a dream. Still not a BMW Z3 but I cant see that actually happening. Kinda depressing to think we have to change clocks Sunday, where did the summer go? I dont care if it is raining I surf at dawn!! My surfing has improved a lot this summer, damn whodda thought this kid from Pennsylvania would be living on the beach half a world away and surfing. Go figure. Well only another week and I can rock out to Creed, Incubus, and Seven Dust!! Almost as good as BDO. |
| Tues 26 March Well the Creed concert was kick ass!! The show out at Western Springs was a damn good show. Seven Dust didnt make it but the show was opened by Savant and Eight, next came Incubus...they rock!!!! Scott Stapp has a damn good voice and we had a great time there. Well now that its fall its actually getting a bit cold nights. But from what I hear folks back home are more into winter now than when it was winter. Still nice during the day though. |
| 1 May 2002 Well just got in earlier today from the trip to Q'town. We hired a car to drive down took the ferry to the S island, and then hired another car and flew back home. Its a lot longer drive than when it was me and the boyz in Willies ol' Ford. But Im not saying it wasnt enjoyable. It does seem a bit rushed since we had a schedule to keep of where we had to be each night. Did get some piccies that I will be posting sometime soon. Its going on midnight here and Im ready to crash out. Its really looking like there will be a trip home this winter in late June or early July. I could go on and on about the trip but I wont. Any specific questions ask me. Well Im outta here just finish my Rashuns and Milo and Im off to bed. |
| 21 June 2002 Getting the plans finished up for the visit back to the States. Hopefully I will be able to go to the wine festival at Watkins Glen. The weather here the past 2 days is total shit, something called a weather bomb, but lots of high winds, tons of rain and its like 10C here. Not even worth venturing out of the house. Anyway did get to catch Pacifier formenrly know as SHIHAD a few weeks back, the new stuff for the upcoming album is ass kicking!! I hope this album will break them out worldwide now, these guys really deserve it. Oh yeah Im going to be getting a new DVD player, I found a place that sells players that have no coding thing, so I can play DVDs no matter what the regional code is. I have a bunch of DVDs from the States that wont play on my current player and I hate that. Well winters here, but still it wont be long till October is here and the start of the Louis Vittan Cup starts again. Well thats it for now. |
| 27 June 2002 Well NZ finally gets to see the MTV show the Osbournes, TV2 has it Tuesday nights. I f*cking love it I can see what all the hype was about, its a great show and I hope I can see every episode. In other news, there is still some cleanup in the area from the big storm that passed through last week. |
| 4Sept02 Damn, haven't had time to do any kind of updates here in way too long. Big news is Pacifier's new album is out and it KICKS ASS!! Im told it will be out in the States in Jan'03 with a tour. I did manage to get tickets to see RHCP in November and my tix are for the Chilli Bin, those tix were sold out in no time. Havent seen the Peppers since BDO '00 so cant wait to see them again. But Im more excited about seeing how many Pacifier shows I can get to!! So if your in the States keep an ear out for a group called Pacifier, they should have thier single "Bulletproof" out early October. They are the best band Ive ever seen. |
