| How 98 Degrees was formed Drew Lachey was the last member to join 98 Degrees. Before his fame, he worked as am EMT in New York. His brother Nick, and his friends Jeff and Justin, along with another guy, had created a group way over in LA. But when the other guy left, Nick asked his younger brother Drew to complete the foursome. Drew accepted, and two days later, Nick was driving Drew to LA, teaching him his parts from a tape the group had made. They arrived in time for a performance with Montell Jordan, and less that six months later, they became 98 Degrees, when they signed with Motown Records. |
| Drew and Lea Drew met a girl by the name of Lea Dellecave when they were nine years old. They were an "item" through junior high and high school. When they were seventeen years old, Drew gave Lea a promise ring. Then not too long ago, Drew and Lea decided to replace her promise ring with an diamond engagement ring. The two wed last year, in October of 2000. Lea is also one of 98 Degrees' dancers. |
